What an exciting time it’s been! Brandon, my partner, and I co-authored our first book: Cook. Better. It launched in November 2014 and it was barely even on the shelves when we were awarded first runner up in the inaugural Sunday Times Food Weekly Cookbook Awards!
This book is more a philosophy than a compendium of recipes, because we believe extracting flavour is more important than adding it. That knowing how to do things properly will set you up for cooking delicious food far more than buying a basket of fancy ingredients.
